School Dinners

Attached below are the school dinner menus for the current menu cycle. It is really important that a copy is made and handed in to school with your child's name and class on and that you keep a copy for yourself.
Children do not have to have school dinners everyday and it is up to your children and you as parents to ensure that you choose a menu option your child will like.
All school dinners are cooked on site in either the kitchen at Abbey Field or the kitchen at Town.
All children in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals (UFSM). UFSM are school dinners that are paid for by the government. As per the menu options children can choose any of the choices. It is also important to note that children do not have to have UFSM every day, if they want they can only have school dinners a few times a week and you can send them in with a packed lunch for the other days.
Free School Meals are changing from September 2026, and more families may be able to get help. From the start of the 2026 to 2027 academic year, children in households receiving Universal Credit will be entitled to Free School Meals. At the same time, the current transitional protection arrangements will end, so eligibility will need to be checked again to make sure children continue to receive the right support.
